I'm passionate about teaching preschool!
Hi! I'm Ms. Stacia! I'm the owner of Legends Learning Studio. In addition to all the fantastic teachers in Preschool Club, I'll be your child's personal preschool teacher. So after you join, I'll stay in close contact to make sure you have a great experience!
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Business from Fisher College, am a certified yoga teacher, and I am a proud mom to a curious toddler. I am passionate about creating a nurturing environment where children feel safe, confident, and excited to learn.
My Learning Philosophy
I believe children learn best when they feel supported, engaged, and free to explore the world around them. At Breathe and Bloom, I take a whole-child approach that balances kindergarten readiness with creativity, movement, emotional growth, and nature-based learning. Every child deserves an environment where curiosity is encouraged and learning feels joyful. My goal is to help children develop confidence, independence, and a lifelong joy for learning.
Outside the Classroom
Outside the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my son, being silly, exploring nature, and practicing yoga. I am passionate about black maternal health and wellness and believe in supporting families both inside and outside of education. I love exploring, hiking, reading, and pursuing personal growth through learning and self-reflection. These experiences inspire the calm, nurturing, and mindful environment I create for children every day.

Village Saturdays is a space created so parents can have time to just breathe. Raising a toddlers can be taxing. Soon you will be able to choose a time and leave the kids with us. pour into yourself for a few hours, Give undivided attention to other siblings, run errands, sleep in the bed alone. Teaching children is a huge responsibility, and we take that responsibility seriously! Not only are we state licensed and CPR/1st Aid Certified, but our distinct policies and procedures regarding health and safety help to keep your child in a safe, clean environment. We’re constantly cleaning, washing hands, and monitoring all activities to prevent any accidents.

To extend our learning we go on several field trips each year, and you get to join your child on them. We’ve gone to places like: the Zoo, Cabela’s, Apple Orchard, Police Station, Fire Station, Popcorn Store, Grocery Store, Taekwondo, Domino’s Pizza, Pumpkin Patch, and more! We’ll also celebrate special occasions with parties for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, and your child’s birthday!

Each year, your child will receive a different t-shirt for that school year to wear on Spirit Days.
#9: We help you preserve memories!
We offer you the opportunity to enrich your preschool experience by enjoying book orders, school pictures, class pictures, graduation pictures, cap ‘n gown pictures, and an end-of-the-year graduation video.

When should I call to register my child?
It’s never too early to call, so call as soon as you even think about registering, because our classes fill up ridiculously fast!
When does preschool start? Can I enroll mid-year?
We have a 10-month school year (Aug.-May) and a 2-month summer camp (June-July). If we have spots available, you can enroll mid-year. Please call us to see if we have any spots available.
How old does my child need to be to attend?
Preschool classes are for children who are ages 3-5 (and "independent almost-3-year-olds") by Sep. 1. Summer camp is for children who are ages 3-8 by June 1.
Does my child have to be potty trained?
Yes. If you have any questions about whether or not your child is ready, feel free to give us a call. We even have a “How To Potty Train” your child handout we can give you. It’s helped many preschool moms quickly potty train their kids. We’re here to help!
What is your teaching philosophy?
We follow a “whole child” philosophy where we work with you to improve your child’s Social, Emotional, Cognitive, Language, and Physical skills. Our curriculum is based on the NAEYC guidelines and features a balance of teacher-directed and child-initiated hands-on activities to accomplish these goals. We also incorporate Fundamentals Preschool Curriculum. Your child will learn to socialize, make friends, develop social and emotional skills, and be more than ready for Kindergarten!
Are there additional fees during the year?
No. Your registration fee covers all your child’s supplies and reserves a spot in our program. Your child won’t pay anything to attend our field trips and activities. And your family can come for free too! Your child will also receive at no extra cost: a preschool shirt to wear on Spirit Day and a graduation portfolio!
What if my child has food restrictions?
No worries. Several of our students have food intolerances or severe allergies. We ask these families to bring in their own snacks, and we create nut-free classrooms any time a child’s allergy is severe enough to require an epi pen.
Is the registration fee refundable?
No.
How many students do you have per class?
We have the smallest class sizes in town so your child gets lots of 1-on-1 time. We only have 10 students per class.
